How much do you charge?
That depends on many things. The size and complexity of your kitchen or laundry, types of cabinets and appliances to be installed, correct placement of plumbing and electrical services, levelness of your floor and straightness of walls are all factors that contribute to the variability of the total cost. We work on an hourly rate per person, and our system is designed so that tasks that require the most skill are prioritised wherever possible, so that you get the most value for every dollar you spend. Generally the best way to save money is to do the easy tasks yourself, which you can learn more about by calling us or visiting our process page.
Can you service rural areas?
Usually we can. As we’re based in the Adelaide Metropolitan Area, please consider that we will need to charge a higher callout fee to cover the cost of getting to you. To save you money, we aim to get the job done in as few days as possible, which often means an early start and a late finish.
Can you assist me with planning my kitchen or laundry, and the initial design?
We’ll certainly do our best to assist you with the planning stages. We do offer the service of coming out and measuring up the space and liaising with salespeople and trades. As our specialty lies mainly in the practical aspects of the installation process, it’s often best to get advice from staff at the particular retailer you have in mind if you’re looking for advice on the purely aesthetic and ergonomic aspects of your kitchen or laundry. In our experience, a good interior designer can offer a wealth of knowledge and give you insights you may not have been aware of. Whatever your needs are, please give us a call and we’d be more than happy to quote or provide referrals.
Can you do demolitions?
We sure can. If you like we can organise the removal and disposal of your old cabinetry, capping the services and arranging the skip bin etc.
How do you take payment?
Our preferred method is Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) through online banking once the job is completed, but you also have the option of cash or debit/credit card. Please note that all card payments incur a bank surcharge of around 2.2%.
